During my sophomore year of high school, I drew this artwork in my art class. I observed a converse sneaker that my art teacher had brought in and used a white color pencil on black paper, focusing on the light rather than the shadows that is usually focused on.
During my junior year of high school, I painted this artwork in my art class. We separated the picture that we wanted to create into parts and utilized watercolor paints so that it would resemble a stained glass window. I chose to paint two koi fish swimming in a pond.
In contrast to the previous two artworks, I made this artwork at home during online learning due to quarantine. My art teacher had understood that not everyone had a variety of art supply, so she chose something simple for us to create. We had to choose an object and separate it into parts. Those parts were then filled in with various patterns (called Zentangle). I chose a flying fish and multiple different patterns that were inspired by what I saw online.
